Just really documenting what happened last week with my sites. Really cannot believe it has been 3 years since I have started using duckdns.org for the free site dynamic DNS. I still use them, but last week, my sites went down. I initially thought it was my hardware (which is really getting OLD!) again, but turns out duckdns was down and not serving any DNS lookups. Now my site is not important whatsoever, but I like to see what my weather station is doing. So I had to get a real URL, and my old .com one was now taken and held hostage by someone trying to charge a fortune to get it back, so I went with Hometownnerd.org through spaceship.com. I am also using dynu.com for nameservers, hopefully it will work better now and stay up.
